The products database is set up to contain the required information for any products you will be shipping. You can begin with just the products for inclusion in your first shipment, and add other products as you need them.
Adding, listing, searching and editing products is very similar to doing these actions with Parties - with some important differences, covered in the next few sections.
You cannot add a product during the creation of a shipment, so you need to make sure the data is in the database before you begin creating a shipment.
